HÉMOPHILIE : LE SAVIEZ-VOUS ?

Est le taux de saignement annuel d’après une étude réalisée à partir de données sur les patients hémophiles répertoriés au Registre autrichien de l’hémophilie. Les patients traités présentaient respectivement un taux annuel de saignement de 4,9 (hémophilie de type A) et 3,0 (hémophilie de type B).10

Est le nombre de patients qui rapportait des douleurs physiques au cours des 4 semaines précédant l’étude. 10% d’entre eux souffraient de douleurs sévères et 34% de douleurs modérées.11

Une étude mondiale montre que près de trois quarts des patients hémophiles ne respectent pas le traitement prescrit, pour les raisons suivantes : des difficultés de se déplacer jusqu’au centre de traitement (72%), les coûts du traitement (69%) et la pénurie d’approvisionnement (55%).12,22-24
VIVRE AVEC L'HÉMOPHILIE
Les traitements pour l’hémophilie progressent, mais on peut encore faire mieux.
Les récentes avancées scientifiques ont révolutionné les traitements disponibles. Néanmoins, des progrès restent encore à réaliser pour améliorer la qualité de vie des patients.
